CTK Missions History

Since 1993, CTK International has sent out short term mission teams to Mexico, Costa Rica, India, Honduras, Nepal, Tanzania & Kenya. These teams have been both evangelistic and practical in nature and have included medical, construction, teaching, preaching & children's ministry.

The first construction project was building a church in El Cardonal, a small colonia of La Paz, Mexico, in the mid 1990s. This church is thriving and continues to be a place of refuge from the hurricanes. It recently became a government designated adult literacy center. The 2011 CTK team helped the El Cardonal church plant a daughter church in San Pedro.

The second construction project was building a school and clinic in Masaai Land in 2007 in partnership with the YWAM base in Arusha, Tanzania. The clinic was named Christ the King Community Clinic. The 2007 team also brought water to the Masaai village for the very first time.

In 2007, CTK International began providing complete support for the Keshiary Orphanage and staff in West Bangal, India in partnership with Kidstown, International. CTK attenders sponsor all 75 children in this orphanage.

CTK International began providing complete support for the Savior King Academy in the Kiberia slum of Nairobi, Kenya in 2007.

The current building project is the Tumaini Children's Home in Arusha, Tanzania. When it's completed in 2011, it will provide a home for 35 + children and staff to care for them.

CTK International goal is to make it easy to go and easy to give, whether it be in the nations of India, Nepal, Kenya, Tanzania, Mexico, Central America, Canada, Israel, Thailand, across the US or right here in Bellingham & Whatcom County.

We are excited and ready to help you tap into that missions dream that God has stamped into your DNA so you can become part of a global team that reaches out to people of every tribe, tongue & nation.
